To drift is not to be lost.
It is to flow with what is greater than us—
like water following the river’s course,
trusting the way it carries us.

Blue Drift is a meditation on surrender:
the quiet practice of releasing control
and leaning into the higher force
that always holds us.

Soft layers of light and mid-blue wash across the surface,
deep rich blues and sage moving like tides.
Peach and orange accents flicker through,
bringing warmth and light into the depths.
The painting carries both stillness and motion—
a presence that calms,
yet keeps moving forward.

I created this piece as an affirmation of flow—
a reminder that trust is an act of courage,
and that peace is found not in resisting,
but in moving with what already carries us.

Affirmation: I practice surrender — trusting what is greater than me to hold and guide me.
