`Letting Go` 100x80
Original abstract painting | Mixed media on raw cotton canvas | 100 x 80 cm | Framed in natural oak
Letting Go was born in a season where I had to choose myself.
Not in a bold or dramatic way—
but quietly.
Softly.
In the kind of way that feels both freeing and heartbreaking at once.
This painting holds the ache of outgrowing spaces, patterns, and even people I still loved.
It’s about the moment you realize that staying would mean shrinking.
That no matter how much care remains, something deeper in you is ready to move on.
I worked on this piece slowly, over months—letting the layers speak for themselves.
Earthy tones of warm beige, muted rose, soft orange, and rich brown form the base, like the memory of something once deeply familiar.
Hints of blue and pale green move gently through the composition—like emotions surfacing, soft and unexpected.
The hand-stitched lines are traces of what I’ve released—not because it wasn’t beautiful,
but because I’ve changed.
Letting Go is not about forgetting.
It’s about honoring what was,
and making space for who you're becoming.
Painted in 2025 with non-toxic acrylics and hand embroidery on raw cotton canvas.
Framed in a natural oak floating frame, ready to hang.
100 x 80 cm.
