The Glimmers of Life Collection: `She Used to Dance Here` 25x30
When was the last time you did something for the very last time?
Dancing wildly without thinking about how it looks.
Feeling heartbreak so deeply you were sure you'd never recover.
Watching a movie and whispering to yourself:
"This is how my life will look like."
There are so many things we used to do.
And at some point, without even noticing, we stop doing them.
We grow up, we protect ourselves, we forget.
I created this abstract painting as a silent memory —
but also as a gentle reminder:
Even if we’ve stopped,
we’re allowed to begin again.
The layers of color moving across the canvas feel like a dance themselves — soft, wild, free. A reflection of the soul of nature, and the tender ache of nostalgia.
May it bring you the courage to stand up for yourself and get what you want in life. Even when it’s just dancing wildly.
This original painting is part of The Glimmers of Life Collection.
